Almost Home Child Care has been the premier childcare destination in Davie County since 1994, earning a 5-star DCDEE designation and becoming one of the very few Mocksville centers to offer non-traditional-hours coverage alongside a state Pre-K contract. Founder Debra Stanley's three-decade tenure and a warm, play-centered philosophy give the center an unusually family-like culture; recent inspection findings are largely administrative in nature and do not undermine its overall standing as the quality leader in this underserved rural county.
