
AlphaBEST @ North Campus-NTCA is a free, fully-funded before-and-after school enrichment program for school-age children at North Texas Collegiate Academy in Denton. Operated by the national AlphaBEST provider and serving kindergarten through school age, the program includes daily activities in coding, robotics, art, drama, Spanish, Mandarin, sign language, fitness and sports, and engineering/maker work, along with homework help and student-choice clubs—all funded by the Academy with no cost to families. Staff are fingerprinted, background-checked, and certified in first aid and CPR; the center maintains a nut-free environment with snacks provided and accommodations for special needs. Extended hours through 5:30 p.m. support working families, though enrollment is limited to students attending NTCA.
Curriculum & approach: Teaching philosophy emphasizes wonder and imagination to expand children's horizons. Daily enrichment includes coding, robotics, art, drama, Spanish, Mandarin, sign language, fitness & sports, and engineering/maker activities.
