Curriculum & approach: Program focuses on four areas: increasing access to quality programs addressing educational and character development, staff professional development, family information/referrals/financial assistance, and specialized services for children with developmental delays or disabilities. Staff are trained to work with youth of all ages and backgrounds as mentors and role models for life skills.
Programs & activities: Hands-on educational experiences; opportunities to express talents in the arts, sports, and other areas of interest, taking full advantage of all the Y has to offer. Emphasis on cooperation, sportsmanship, and friendship.
