CSUSB Children's Center, a NAEYC-accredited university lab school on the San Bernardino campus, serves preschoolers ages 3–5 within the campus community. The center operates two classrooms emphasizing developmentally appropriate practices and inclusive programming for children with special needs, with state funding and trained ECE student oversight ensuring program quality since 2009. Hours are Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–5:30 PM and Friday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; note that priority enrollment favors CSUSB students, faculty, and staff, and infant/toddler care is not available.

Programs & activities: Classroom programs for 3-year-olds (Pups) and 4-year-olds (Yotes), plus an integrated outdoor learning environment. A summer enrichment program for ages 6-12 typically runs June through early August (noted as not available Summer 2026).
