Barron Park Children's Center (BPCC) is a CCLD-licensed preschool program (License #434400473) operated by Palo Alto Community Child Care on the Barron Park Elementary campus, serving ages 2 years through TK entry in a 1:8 ratio. The program benefits from five full-time staff with over 30 combined years of experience and uses a STEAM-based, play-focused curriculum supported by Maker's Studio, weekly soccer, library sessions, and music/movement enrichment. Located within an elementary school, it offers a direct transition pathway for children entering kindergarten on the same campus. With full-day and flexible part-day options (7:30 AM–6:00 PM) and inclusion of healthy hot lunch and snacks, it serves working families well. A February 2025 inspection resulted in one Type A and one Type B citation, which families should carefully review; the center's very limited capacity of 24 children requires advance enrollment planning, and it does not serve infants or toddlers.
