
Dublin Latchkey - Indian Run is a non-profit before and after school program operated by Dublin City Schools since 1984, serving kindergarten through fifth grade at Indian Run Elementary School. With exceptional parent satisfaction—97% of surveyed families rate the program as good to excellent—it delivers structured homework assistance, daily snacks, and enrichment activities including STEM projects, robotics, sign language, and art instruction led by guest instructors. The program runs 7:05–9:00 a.m. and 3:30–6:00 p.m., accepts PFCC subsidy vouchers, and guides learning through weekly educational themes and cooperative activities. As a school-age-only program not yet enrolled in the state quality rating system, it does not serve infants, toddlers, or preschool-age children seeking full-day care.
Curriculum & approach: Teachers provide weekly lessons in math, science, cultural studies and cooperative learning. Weekly educational themes guide programming and enrichment. Guest instructors teach robotics, sign language, art programs, PBS SciGirls STEM curriculum and videography.
Programs & activities: Homework assistance and reading support, recreational activities, Friday STEM projects, educational lessons twice a week, philanthropic projects and community responsibility activities, annual competitions and cultural celebrations.
