Lima Sr. Early Head Start, located at 1 Spartan Way on the Lima Senior High School campus, is a federally-operated Early Head Start program serving infants and toddlers from birth through age 3. Operated by West Ohio Community Action Partnership (WOCAP) and rated Gold by Ohio's Step Up To Quality standards, the center provides year-round childcare Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 3:00pm, for families across Allen, Auglaize, and Mercer Counties. As an Early Head Start-only program, it does not serve preschool-age children; families will need to transition to an alternative program when children reach age 3.
