Northfield Elementary YMCA Base is an Ohio Step Up To Quality Gold-rated before/after school program operated by YMCA Akron at 9370 Olde 8 Road in Northfield, Ohio. Located directly on the Northfield Elementary campus, the program offers convenient school-day pickup and drop-off for kindergarten through fifth grade, with extended hours from 6:30 AM through 6:00 PM. Activities include arts and crafts, outdoor play, gaga ball, and sports in a safe, familiar school environment. The program accepts PFCC vouchers for subsidy-eligible families and operates Fun Days at Longwood YMCA branch on school closure days. As a school-age only program, it does not serve infants or toddlers.
