Owens Community College Early Learning Center at 3200 Bright Rd in Findlay is Ohio's only 5-Star Step Up to Quality rated center in Hancock County, operating since 2006 on the Owens Findlay campus. Rooted in Reggio Emilia philosophy—emphasizing reflection and learning within supportive environments—the center serves toddlers from 18 months through school age, with year-round programming for preschool-age children and a summer program for school-age children up to age 11. It accepts publicly funded child care vouchers and offers flexible full-year, semester, or school-year contracts, accommodating college faculty, staff, students, and community families from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays.
