The number parents remember most: 10+. Our infant teachers have been with Creative Minds nearly since the day we opened, more than ten years ago — a decade of first smiles, first steps, and families who come back with their second and third babies.
Our Nido environment is a calm, nurturing space designed especially for the youngest members of our community. With soft lighting, natural materials, and a gentle rhythm to the day, infants are supported in developing trust in the world around them.
We emphasize responsive caregiving, freedom of movement, and rich sensory experiences to foster secure attachment and healthy development.
Most of all, we know that what parents of infants really need is trust — in the hands that hold their baby and in the walls around them. That trust is built on two things we’re proudest of: caregivers who have been here for over a decade, and safety practices that run through every detail of the day.
Schedule a TourThe Hands That Hold Your Baby
Handing your infant to someone else for the first time is the hardest drop-off a parent ever makes — we have never forgotten that. Our infant teachers have been with Creative Minds nearly since the school first opened its doors, more than ten years ago. That kind of tenure is almost unheard of in childcare, and it changes everything: the same warm faces greet you at drop-off year after year, they’ve rocked hundreds of babies through first teeth and first steps, and they learn each infant’s cues — the hungry fuss versus the tired one — within days, not months.
Because our caregivers stay, your baby’s routine stays consistent too: the same person feeding them, the same voice at nap time, the same lap for story time. Every caregiver also completes state-required annual training, including infant-specific health and safety.
Safety, Down to the Smallest Details
- Safe sleep, every sleep. Infants are placed on their backs in safe, bare cribs, following Texas safe-sleep standards — no loose blankets, no exceptions.
- A building that protects them. Doors stay locked at all times, each family carries a personal key fob, and check-in/out runs through the lobby fingerprint system. Your baby is released only to adults you’ve authorized, with photo ID verified.
- Eyes on the room — including yours. Video cameras cover every classroom, and you receive your own secure login to peek in on your baby any time of day.
- You hear from us immediately. Any injury, any symptom, any concern — we call you right away, and everything is documented in your child’s daily log.
- Feeding, exactly your way. Bottles arrive labeled and premixed by you, we follow the detailed feeding schedule you update monthly, and nursing mothers have a private space to breastfeed any time. We are a nut-free school.
- Protecting little immune systems. We enforce strict illness-exclusion standards and current immunization requirements for every child in our care.
Always in the Loop
Every evening you’ll receive an email with the full story of your baby’s day — every feeding, nap, and diaper change, plus photos. Between emails, you can watch the live classroom camera or simply call; parents are welcome to visit at any time during operating hours, no appointment needed. And when your baby is ready for their first day, we’ll help you plan a gentle transition — a visit together beforehand, short days to start if you’d like, and honest updates while you’re apart.
