About P.D. Eastman
P.D. Eastman (1909–1986) trained at Disney and Warner Bros., wrote for Private Snafu cartoons alongside Ted Geisel during the war, and then became the Beginner Books workhorse — Go, Dog. Go! and Are You My Mother? have taught tens of millions to read.
